Ms. Harris grew up in Nashville and began her love of music there. She learned to play piano in elementary school and joined band in middle school to play flute. In high school and college, she continued playing flute and piccolo in several different ensembles including Vanderbilt "Spirit of Gold" Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, and various groups around the Music department. Ms. Harris graduated from Lipscomb University with her degree in Music Education then joined the Woodard faculty in 2019.
